Nut Free Coconut & Date Bars

nut-free-coconut-date-bars

I was recently asked if I was able to make a nut free base that could be used as a substitute for my raw slices and tart bases. So, I started experimenting and came up with a base that was really tasty and works well as a nut free option. I also decided that the base works really well on its own and thus, my Nut Free Coconut & Date Bars were born.

These bars which are gluten, dairy, nut and refined sugar free, contain four ingredients, which you process in your blender, food processor or Thermomix. Then the mixtures gets placed into a lined baking tin and placed in the freezer to set. How easy is that? Super simple for super delicious treat that is perfect for kids lunchboxes. In fact, my son took a few pieces to his daycare the other day. He is a big fan of them.

I am a big fan of super simple treats to make, like my Raw Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars, Chia, Cacao & Macadamia Bars and Raw Caramel Macadamia Bliss Balls. So, stay tuned for more simple healthy treats.
