But it does come with its challenges! 

Little or no sleep, tired and exhausted during the day, high stress levels , not enough time in the day to get everything done, low focus and concentration levels

Do any of these sound familiar to you?

Self-care is so important for us mamas. Part of my self-care routine is using essential oils to support my health and wellness. One of the ways that I use essential oils is by diffusing them to support my moods. I have tried hundreds of different diffuser blends over the years and come up with the 8 best diffuser blends that I recommend for mamas.

Wake Up

4 drops Peppermint
4 drops Lemon
2 drops Frankincense

This is an awesome blend to start diffusing when you wake up in the morning. It will help you get into your routine for the day. 

Worry Less

3 drops Patchouli
3 drops Bergamot

This beautiful combination of essential oil is the one to diffuse when you are feeling a bit worried and anxious, plus it makes the house smell amazing.

Focus

3 drops Rosemary
2 drops Lemon
1 drop Peppermint

This combination is so uplifting and really helps me to concentrate on what I am working on, especially when I have lot on my plate and I really need to focus on the task at hand. This is my favourite focus and concentration diffuser blend. I am diffusing it as I am writing this blog post.

Stress Free

3 drops Lavender
3 drops Lime
1 drop Spearmint

Feeling a bit stressed? Then make sure you diffuse lavender, lime and spearmint. This combination of uplifting oils will help you to manage your stress levels.

Pick Me Up

2 drops Wild Orange
2 drops Frankincense
2 drops Peppermint

This is my go-to midday pick me up blend. I either diffuse these oils or I add one drop of each to my palms, rub them together and then inhale. Works every time!!

Fatigue Fighter

3 drops Bergamot
2 drops Grapefruit
1 drop Peppermint

This is my new favourite diffuser blend. If you have had a poor night's sleep then try this blend of Bergamot, Grapefruit and Peppermint essential oils. It helps me to get on with my day even after a poor sleep the night before. 

Sleepy Time

3 drops Grounding Blend
2 drops Restful Blend

I diffuse the Sleepy Time blend in Giselle and Joshua's room when they go to bed and I have found that it is the one that helps them the best to fall asleep and to stay asleep. I have tried other blends but they do not work as well for my two. 

Relax

2 drops Frankincense
2 drops Lavender
