I am a qualified holistic nutritionist, wellness coach, healthy foodie, mum of two young children and the creator of Becomingness; a health and wellness website which helps women and their families achieve a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life
In life before Becomingness, I had struggled with weight and health issues for the past 12 years, particularly after snapping my Achilles tendon in 2006. I struggled with my confidence and it really affected me emotionally. I constantly felt tired, lethargic and had no motivation to do much at all.
I started studying nutrition during my first pregnancy. I had always been interested in health and wellness, and took my career break as an opportunity to re-educate in a field I thought I would enjoy – and one that would allow me to help my family, my friends, and myself
It was one of the best choices I have ever made. I have become passionate about healthy eating and cooking and generally maintaining a healthier lifestyle, which I have passed on to my family and friends.
I now eat whole foods, which are gluten, dairy and refined sugar free and my recipes reflect this. I cook using highly nutritious ingredients with no additives and no preservatives. There are also a lot of nut-free meals in our house, as my daughter is tree-nut allergic. This is an approach to nutrition that leaves me with much more energy, and has provided me with long term weight-loss benefits. I feel good about myself. The evidence suggests that it’s the best approach to longer term wellness too.

Nothing makes me happier than when I have helped a busy mum get back on track with her (and her families) health and wellness or when I have adapted someone's favourite recipe into a healthier version.
I also offer a range of nutritional and wellness coaching programs that are designed to help tired mums shed unwanted kilos, gain energy and improve their overall health.
I have close to 200 recipes available for you to check out on my site which are mostly gluten, dairy and refined sugar free and I also include nut, tree nut and egg free recipes to cater for the various allergies.
