Ingredients

  • 2 cups coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup pepitas
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts raw
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup macadamias
  • 2 tablespoons linseeds
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup optional
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon all spice powder

Optional (to serve with the granola)

  • coconut yoghurt
  • fresh berries

Instructions

  • Prepare - Pre-heat oven 180C/355F and line two baking trays with baking paper.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients - Mix all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add Wet Ingredients - Add the coconut oil, maple syrup (if using) and the essential oils in a small glass bowl and then add to the dry ingredients, combine thoroughly.
  • Place on baking trays - Spread the ingredients evenly across the two baking trays
  • Cook - Place in the oven for 15 minutes, swapping the trays at the midway point.
  • Allow to cool - Remove and allow the granola to cool
  • Serve - With the yoghurt and blueberries

  1. Serve with coconut yoghurt and berries or alternatively you can enjoy on it's own or with your favourite dairy free milk

  3. I love making grain-free granola, but this recipe is totally different than mine so I am excited to try it. I love that you add the wild orange essential oil for a bit of aromatic flavor.

  4. We love our homemade granola but haven’t tried any grain free. It sounds and looks delicious and btw, good job on your weight loss. I know how hard it is to do so — especially when you have little people you have to cook for. If they like the same food you do then you’re on your way. Will have to try out this recipe.
